Ah.... Snuff, a great way to enjoy tobacco when you can't smoke . Snuff unlike the "dip" that we call Snuff in this country is really a high quality powdered tobacco with various scents added. Nasal Snuff is very finely ground and is "sniffed" gently into each nostril for enjoyment. The scented tobacco seems to open up your nasal passages and everything smells and tastes great. Think of Snuff like enjoying a quick double shot of espresso.
According to Pöschl the best way to enjoy snuff correctly is:
1. Start with a small amount of nasal snuff equal to a pinch.
2. Place the nasal snuff on the back of your hand or on your finger tips.
3. Inhale the nasal snuff very lightly.
4. Pause a few seconds after inhaling the nasal snuff. Enjoy the aroma and sense its refreshing tingle.
5. You may feel an urge to sneeze. However, the more often you use nasal snuff, the less it will cause you to sneeze.
6. A mild nasal snuff must stay slightly moist. Should it ever fail to flow easily out of the box, a light tap will usually loosen it.
